➕➖ Add or remove BizTalk Logging
The Nodinite BizTalk Server Logging Agent lets you log from one or more BizTalk Server Groups (such as PROD and TEST, or multiple PROD groups). You manage each BizTalk Server group with a unique Log Agent instance, which includes the following properties:
- Name – Assign a user-friendly name to the Log Agent (Mandatory)
- Log Agent Value Id – Set a unique id for the Log Agent (Mandatory)
Note
Never change the id once set, as this may disrupt log view settings and more.
- Description – Add a user-friendly description for the Log Agent (Optional)
- Web Site – Link to an external website with more information about the Log Agent (Optional)
Example: Basic Log Agent configuration.
For each BizTalk Server group, you configure the Configuration (BizTalkMgmtDB) database and the Tracking (BizTalkDTADb) database. Nodinite uses Linked Servers, and the SQL instance with the Configuration Database must have a configuration for both the BizTalk Management (BizTalkMGMTDb) and tracking database (BizTalkDTADb).
You find SQL Server connection details in the BizTalk databases tab, as shown below:
Example: BizTalk databases tab with SQL Server connection details.
You control the number of events and messages transferred per run and the polling interval in the Tracking tab:

Nodinite automatically synchronizes ports as Endpoints. You set the interval in the Endpoints tab:

Log Status Codes
You can add user-friendly descriptions for unique error codes from any Integration Broker. Each Log Agent has its own set of Log Status Codes.
You find the list of Log Status Codes in the Log Status Codes section:
